Ive gotten to know Asher and her family over the past few years as our two oldest boys are besties at school. So naturally we’ve formed a friendship.
Ive heard little snippets of wedding talk from her over the years and was excited for her when she announced they had planned a wedding date and would like me to document their special day. It’s always an honour to be asked to document someones wedding and I appreciate it so much.
When we went to check out the venue of the ceremony a few weeks before as I had not been there before, I got so excited. It has the cutest little chapel set in the most beautiful gardens at Lalla Flower Farm. A week before the wedding Asher sent me a link to a post that one of the rhododendron bushes had bloomed just in time for the wedding. Oh man it was stunning. Everything about the place was a photographers dream location.
The day started out a little wet, but this did not put a damper on things, we were prepared if it continued to rain and we all know its good luck if it rains on your wedding day. But it cleared up just in time and the rest of the day was beautiful.
